Dear Sir,

I wonder if you can help me in any way, I am tracing my family tree and I have gone back to about 1800 my ancestors were all born lived and died in Thatcham but I cannot find any graves of my ancestors though I did find 2 on the Thatcham war memorial. Is there any way you could point me in the right direction.

I can add your enquiry to out website and next newsletter if that is okay. It may generate more answers. I have heard of the Bosleys before. There are several in our grave records, the ones that are the closest match to the date you gave are:

B73 IELMO / ESTHER / the beloved wife of / GEORGE BOSLEY / born January 19th 1843 / fell asleep January 14th 1902 / Sleep on beloved sleep and take / thy rest / Lay down thy head upon thy / Saviour's breast / We love thee well but Jesus loves / thee best / Good night, Good night / also of GEORGE BOSLEY / husband of the above / who died Sep 8th 1929 / aged 87 years / God is Love

F36 [more here] I / ARO / CLARA / daughter of WILLIAM & ELIZABETH ANN WEBB / who died May 21st 1875 / also / CATHERINE MATILDA / wife of WILLIAM BOSLEY / daughter of JOHN EDWARD / & MATILDA MARY HAWKINS / died March 17th 1896 / aged 31 years.

Thank you very much for your reply to my email. The graves I am looking for are of my Great Great Grand Parents David John Bosley Died 1882 and Rachel Bosley Died 1899 And my Great Grand Parents William Bosley Died 1919 and Georgina Ann Bosley Died 1926 If you could help on this I would be very grateful
